Hi Jim,
I would like to take advantage of the 24.98 USD offer for V9, but I am not really sure how to proceed!
Here my situation:
4 OS on the same pc: XP-Test, XP-Prod, W2K-Test, W2K-Prod. On 3 versions I am running V8 with a 7.2 license, one one Test-PC I run V9.
Now, there is no way to upgrade to V9 from V8, so I need to buy V9 from the V9 installation.
But then I have to upgrade all other V8 versions within 14 days, otherwise I would loose my right to have more than one installation licensed. Is that correct?
So there is no way to keep the 3 V8 running for a while without upgrading. I would loose my right to upgrade. Correct?
What is the proper way to proceed? Thank you!

I think that it is covered in the FAQ under Jukebox / Purchase above, but you can do this:
Install 9
Use it to buy a license
Save a copy of the license to disk by right clicking.
Copy to a floppy if necessary
Use this license for your other installs.
MJ8 and MJ9 can use each other's licenses.

Hey Jim,
Congratulations! That was a very smart way of relicensing the old MJ versions! Just by clicking on the BuyButton in the mail on every OS, I could update all 3 MJ8/MJ9 installations in the twinkling of an eye. Just had to upgrade one installation to the latest version number! Very smart process - very smart guys!
