Title: Show Playlist Section Fully
Post by: Sam on November 05, 2002, 06:17:55 am
At Jim's request, I'm repeating my request here:

Switching to Playlists brings the Playlist title to the bottom, leaving the rest of the Playlist section out of view.  Can you make it scroll all the way down?

Great idea -- it will be in the next build.

Thanks!

Same note - can you make playlist groups stick to the top of the playlists rather than appearing in the middle of them.
Groups are more important than individual playlists and should be at the top as such.

I agree with Nila on that one. Years of having Explorer sort folders first, then files has taught me to look for groups at the top of the list.

And as for the playlist scrolling thing... the only "problem" I see there is just a general user friendliness thing... If I click on something towards the bottom of the screen, it's kind of irritating to have it suddenly pop up to the top.

Unless I'm completely misunderstanding this...

Doof,
To clarify, the problem was that when you click on the Playlist button in the toolbar (and there are probably other examples), the side panel would go down and only show the PlayList header, while most of the Playlist groups and lists would remain off-screen.
Matt fixed that in the latest release.

Ah, ok. We were thinking two different things, then.

And in that case, I agree completely. :)
