Title: Deadline for MJ-Tivo
Post by: Kurt Young on October 24, 2002, 07:04:01 pm
Okay guys.  The deadline for fully implementing MJ's Tivo functionality is now Wednesday, November 6th.  Why?  That's when the new season of South Park begins! ;D  Yeee-haw!!

I wanna record them, but when I save my captured video, it generates an unknown error.  I can't record TV anymore!  :(

I'm desperate for a TV-recording function that doesn't sacrifice quality.  I'm at your mercy, gentlemen.

We may have something fun to share in this area before long.  Can't say anymore yet...

Good news: Our new compression is working.

Bad news:  The image is upside down.

Stay tuned.

The next build of V9 should have something that works.  We'll then need to connect it to Media Scheduler for a first step.

I had a video that played like that in MJ8. I reported it as a bug, but as far as I know it never got fixed.

I finally just deleted the video. :P

But that reminds me. The new GeForce drivers have the ability to rotate your display for use with portrait mode LCD's. For some reason they also allow you to flip the image upside down. A friend and I spent about an hour friday night playing Unreal Tournament 2003 upside down. It took us that long to reach our frag limit of 25. :P
