Hello:
i've just come to home to listen some music and when i've open my MJ one information note has pop up:
"This preview version of Media Jukebox has expired.
Please visit hhht://mediajukebox.com to obtain a newer version"
I've gone to that web page and there's only V.8. to download. Recently i've just renove my licence, but i'm using V9, and i'll love to follow using V9. I've look in the forum if there's some new version but i haven't seen it.
¿What happen?. Please, answer me soon 'cause i'm without music right now.
I can't think of any reason why has happen this 'cause i've been using it all the day. And if it 'cause it's beta version, i remember that i used V8 beta from almost the first versions you released until the finished version was released and won't happen this.
? :'(

Might be irrelivant but thought it might be worth a try to suggest - Is your clock date set right?
If yes ignore me :)
-
It happend to me too !!!
Did a clean reinstall (uninstall and clean up registry) , but that didn't help either :(
FYI, I'm using v90070, my local time is GMT+8 and my clock is set to the right date and time

Sorry about that. We meant to keep the timeout date about a month ahead of the release date. Amazing how fast a month can go :o
Anyway, try this build. I think I updated the timeout in this "test" build, but I can't say for sure:
ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/MediaJukebox90071.exe
Sorry for any hassles.

Hi Matt,
For the actual release of v9, what do we need to do to ensure we do not face the timeout. My assumption is that v8 users will be allowed to use v9?
-
Real, non-preview releases won't ever time-out.
It's just that preview's are bad news bears compared to real, stable releases. For that reason, we don't want people to unwittingly use a preview forever. When a preview times out, you _should_ be able to go find a much improved version on our website by that time.
