After many requests in the 8.x versions I saw it today working in version 90069. Loading a CD with MP3 titles will load now the titles plus the correct name of the CD. Wonderful! Why is this feature not available in 8.x???

Sorry - but you didn't! When I went into the libary it still shows in the file name description "(0x5EA0A467):\Beatles (The Beatles One)\Beatles - ..."
instead of "MP3_CDs_12:\Beatles (The Beatles One)\Beatles -.."
Who knows what CD "0x5EA0A467" is.
It seems to be poosible that the name of the CD can be changed, but to do it manaually for hundreds of files - ....
So, is there a solution possible to use the CD-name instead?

Create a view scheme based on "Volume Name". Does that do what you want?

As a note, we could translate CD filenames when displaying them, but it's a speed issue. If enough people really care, let us know and we'll see what we can do.
Thanks.

That seems like it would fit in with the whole user friendliness thing, doesn't it?
That's my pet nitpick for this version. 8 was purely features. 9 is user friendliness. Who knows what I'll pick for 10. :P

Next build will translate the filenames before displaying them ;D

Today I installed MediaJukebox90070 - and now you made it really!!!!!! Many thanks. I'm wondering now why the implementation took just two 2 days and in version 8.xx it was refused?

After importing all my MP3 Cds, I realized that all CD-name are there , but the order of the names are are not sorted (and are not sorted when clicking on the file name tab). So the order looks like MP3_CDs_14, MP3_CDs_11, MP3_CDs_16, ...
Can this be changed as well?
