Title: Critical Bug - Convert Format - Preview IX
Post by: Mike Noe on October 22, 2002, 03:44:52 am
Been gone for a while, I've only had a chance to download the builds and check the board, but today I found a bug in Convert Format:

Going from APE to Windows Media 128:

-Under Options, checked "Move to Location", specified a location on another disk.
Unchecked "update MJ database".

Start Convert.

Get a msg, file already exists (APE), replace with new file (WMA).  If I choose yes, it overwrites the original in the original location and the new WMA in the target location is gone.

Basically, Convert Format to another location isn't working.

Thanks Mike.

The converter is a little hairy right now.  Soon it should be replaced by a streamlined version that does on-the-fly decode / encode.

Stay tuned...
