Title: controlling mj9 over a network?
Post by: didio on October 17, 2002, 12:24:15 pm
Hi,

Maybe it allready can be done with version 9..

I really want to can control mj9 over a network, something like the feature that works over the internet, but this time to play the music on the server and not stream it to the client.

I think this feature can be usefull to many people.

I think that exists already with MJ8, it is a plugin called web remote (if I am not wrong).

I don't want to do it with Internet Explorer, but with another copy of MJ..

I'm no programmer, but it looks simple, just a option so I can choose where to play the music, on the server or on the client.

for the rest everything can be the same, I connect to a server (in a network) and I will recieve the playlist in my local version of MJ then if I want to play a song it must play on the server instead of streaming it to the client.
