I'm really curious to see the new whiz-bang, but all I get is "Required file not found: OLEACC.DLL".
Win98SE.
-
That's from a Microsoft bug in the latest Development suite.
There's a workaround, but we must not be doing it in every MJ component.
Try tonight's build, and if it isn't better, just give a shout.
Thanks.

I seem to be in very deep trouble with this. After MJ 9 wouldn't install I tried to re-install MJ 8 but each plugin would not install. The result was unusable. I couldn't get a successful uninstall as these attempts also failed on the missing OLEACC.dll message.
I made several attempts to manually remove everything. This includes removing all J River files, purging the registry of all MJ keys and running RegClean. I tried MJ 9.066 too but still can't get anything to install cleanly.
Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted.

You might try updating Windows, from IE/tools/windows update.
I believe that the problem happened because Microsoft required a dll in one of it's new files for the c compiler in .net but didn't include it.
Searching for that file name on google might provide better information.

I should have mentioned that I did that too!
