Title: yes to all, not to all
Post by: michel on October 06, 2002, 10:15:28 am
During a rename file from properties, MJ can an existing file with the same name. Then it asks to replace it. There are two answers allowed: yes or not.

It would be nice if MJ proposes also 'yes to all' and 'no to all'.

Agreed.

That's one of those things that would be really good to remind us about in a few weeks when the major "you killed my whole computer" bugs are taken care of   ;D

And why not add a Number (1), (2) etc....

I might not want to over write and just add a number

this would fix a bug that has been in the rename function for over a year if not more.

In MJ 8 if you selected No don't overwrite it would take the file out of the Database. I am not sure if that is fixed yet but that bug has been in MJ7 and MJ8 for more than a year.
