I've asked this once before but never got an answer.
In MJ9 what is the difference between 'Auto Rip' & 'Copy' on the ripping screen? ?

It was intended to allow you to just keep feeding CDs into your drive and have them automatically extract and encode. I haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure it works.

Yes, Auto does work. A small nuisance box pops up asking if I really want to do this Yes / No. I see no reason for it, wish it did not pop up as it is simply another step that gets in the way. At the end of the rip, a screen comes up asking for next CD.
That is all I have been using but did not realize it was for multiple CD feeding.
Seems that copy does the same thing except the final screen does not come up asking for another CD.

So Auto-Rip is finally in there? Sweet!
This is something I've been waiting for.
But, a dialog comes up, prompting you if you want to continue? Boo.
I'm still hesitant to install MJ9, because it isn't easy for me to do a backup, and they warn against installing w/o doing a backup. So, can someone please confirm how the Auto-rip feature differs from the following?
I'd like to be able to do my ripping without looking at the screen. So, I need it to work as follows:
1) Insert CD
2) MJ automatically starts up, if it isn't started already
3) MJ automatically starts ripping the CD, using settings (codec, bit rate, album cover yes/no), that you've preconfigured.
4) When it's done ripping, it's done. I don't care if MJ stays running or not.
5) Inserting subsequent CD's will continue to rip them.
6) If you have more than one CD drive (I do), it will rip from both drives.
Extra credit:
7) It starts beeping (or something), when done ripping
8) It makes a different sounding beep if there's a problem (such as an error in CDDB lookup, or multiple CDDB matches) - anything that requires user intervention.
9) It will buffer the CD's to any hard drive space available, and encode them in a different thread (to speed up ripping).
All of the above seem to me like the obvious way that anyone would want it to work. This is how several other jukebox programs work (except for the extra credit stuff), but MJ hasn't had this functionality, until now. But if anyone would prefer it to behave differently, please let me know, and why.
Also, again, please tell me how much of the above it does, and where it differs.
