Title: EMusic listened to you
Post by: JimH on December 03, 2002, 09:50:19 am
I think your feedback to EMusic and your discussion here had an impact on their business practices.  That impact was a good one.

They ended up modifying what they offered, how they monitored your use of the service, and how they respond when they feel there is a problem.

Though you may not have gotten everything you wanted, you can be proud of the fact that your patience and persistance led to a major record label modifying its policy.

In one way you are 100% right.
Not only this ,but the tone of the last email explaining all was kind of the Emusic of the beginning, when i was an indee thing.

led to a major record label modifying its policy.

About this ,i am not sure you use the right words.

I  would  say : 'led a corporate who have a record label in his 'basket' to modify his policy.
VU own Emusic and MP3.com ,not Universal records.

Anyway ,as you say , we had an impact.
