Hi all,

Just registered and Album View 2.0 this week-end and I'm experiencing some problems with the album thumbnails.

Are there any known issues as to images being completely blurred? I tried to change the resolution size in the menu with no positive results. The album thumbnails are blurred. However, the image on the "playing now" frame is OK.

I'm using a Dell laptop computer with resolution display set to 1400x1050 and Windows Me. I do not have any other display problems so far... and MJ8 displays crisp images of my cover art in the "track info" frame.

All my cover art is located inside the files themselves.

The problem persists even with system resources figures higher than the current ones.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

There shouldn't be any difference between the two.

Both the preview pane and the thumbnails use the microsoft IPicture interface to load the JPG.

Can you extract the image for me and email it zipped to rhinobanga@hotmail.com and I'll check it out here.

Also if you get the time can you post a screenshot showing the problem.

You create the screenshots, upload them to a website and use the Insert Image button when you create a new message to insert the URL.

Alternatively just email them (zipped) to jamie@jdnet.co.uk.

OK, I'm gonna try either way later... somehow the print screen option seems not to work right now and I do not know of any other way to create the screenshot.

There are tons of little shareware programs that will easily do screen captures for you

FInally installed AlbumView in my new computer. All the problems are gone now, and the images (though being all internal images) display great... I think I'm gonna enjoy it, 'cause it's what I was looking for... Browsing my music collection the way I would do in the real world when visiting a record store.

Will keep playing with the functions a bit.
