Title: Can't install MjDubFinder

:-[  I am trying to install MjDubFinder but after downloading I get an error message saying a certain temp file is already in use so MjDubFinder wasn't installed. Had the same problem with Chartfinder but now it works. Can look up the error message if you need it.

This seems to be a problem with the setup-routines VB uses, I think.

Could you please post the complete error message (maybe even do a PM to mwalter@2via.de).

what the problem is your using Windows ME

Dup Finder Uses J Rivers Install And It Was Orginaly Released For Systems With Regedit Version 5.0 And Higher Windows ME Does Not Have This Version Of RegEdit.

After the Install Of Dupe Finder You Will Find A File In The Media Center\Plugins\ Folder

The File Is Called "Registry.Reg" it needs to be edited and the first line in the file changed to REGEDIT4 and thats it.

Sample: Change From

Windows Xp First Line Should Be:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

Change To:

Windows 98 And Windows ME First Line Should Be:

REGEDIT4


and then saved back.

then you need to dbl click on it and it should register.
