Title: DFX
Post by: maxwelljr on December 07, 2002, 01:32:08 pm
I purchased Dfx Sound enhancement software separately.  I downloaded the one specifically for Media Jukebox.
Now all of the sudden I can't use it.
What, when MJukebox expires, I can't use this software which I purchase either?

What's up with that?

you should go to the DFX site and tell them about your problems, J River does not produce that Plug-In

I've got new for you, it's the same Dfx program which is from Power Technology.

Look on the website:

And how does that change things?

Is it produced By J River? = No

besides

Should Be "I've got news for you"

I would say it is a mutual problem.  Media Jukebox promotes the DFX sound enhancement on their website.  It should continue to work be it purchased from Power Technology or from JRiver and not expire when the 30 days is up on the Media Jukebox program.

I have also emailed Power Technology about the issue.

In addition, if you don't work for JRiver your comments are not welcome unless you are polite and professional.

well i think maybe the makers at DFX should have informed you it does not work on a Version That Is Not Licensed.

Good Idea

You mean register MJ?

I plan to when they get the bugs out it.  After reading some of the forum problems, I'm waiting a bit.  I will also wait to see what Power Technology states about the issue.

It's also not so much what you say, but how you say it.

I have been to this forum before and have had problems or issues resolved by other users.  I don't care to come here only to have someone reply that I should take my problems elsewhere.  That is not my idea of being polite.

That's an odd thing to say.  He gave you useful information.  It wasn't impolite.  Professional is another subject altogether.  Doctor?  Lawyer?  Investment Banker?   Hmmm...

In any case, DFX working is not a JRiver problem.  Please follow KingSparta's suggestion.

As I stated I believe it to be a mutual problem since JRiver also promotes the program.  I will wait to hear from Power Tech.
And I'm sorry I beg to differ with you, I thought it was rather impolite.  If you thought it wasn't than that is your view.

On Saturday night, if you get any help on anything, consider yourself lucky.

If your phone went out right now, for example....
