Install Windows 2000 Or XP

It Should Work Then.

It Seems The J River Install.Reg File Is Not Compatable With Older Windows OS

Does AlbumView work?

If so then it's probably the Unicode issue where the developers have upped Unicode .reg files instead if plain ASCII files.

Ask the developers to either a) provide an ASCII .reg file or b) provide an install .EXE

Telling you to upgrade your OS just to try a plugin is a bit over-the-top.

So True.

RhinoBanga

I did have someone test A Unicode Ascii registry.Reg file it did the same thing.

And About The Install.exe file i wish i could figure that out. but I have not been working with install programs to the point where it will install and register it in MJ.

And i can't figure out how to do it in that install program that you recomended.

any help with it would be nice.

J river could not answer the question on why this happens to some users. I asked like 3 times and so did the other named 3rd party programers and got no help from anyone.

King,

Give me an email address and I'll send you the InnoSetup script for the old VB version of AV.

That should get you going.
