Title: Media Server
Post by: Trelane on June 02, 2002, 01:39:57 am
After a few requests, I've decided to try and get the MPC input plugin to work with the Media Server. So far, I've had no luck. What's involved? I have converted all I/O within my CMJMPCSource class to use an MJ reader (I previously used standard Windows file I/O). This gives streaming functionallity, but still no luck with the Media Server.

Is this a problem on my end, or must certain file types be enabled for the Media Server on your end?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

If you take a look at the SDK Readme file you will find following message:
The MJReader.lib requires an authorization key to be able to play the MJSP (Media Jukebox Server Protocol) streams which are transmitted by Media Server.  An authorization key is available by request.  However, there are certain restrictions on the use of this key.

So send me an e-mail and we will talk ( nikolay@jriver.com )
