Importing or opening a file not already in library causes an illigal operation and closes media center.

MEDIA JUKEBOX caused an invalid page fault in
module MEDIA JUKEBOX.EXE at 0177:005c2736.

If you're getting that on any file, the install may be bad.  Try uninstall/reinstall.

If it's a specific file that causes the problem, we'd like to see it.
