Title: Media Juke BOx Install Fails

During install after setup is clicked the install just stop after the package unpaks . The little line goes to the end and the small window disapears.

Looking under process's there is no errant install routine left or hung ?.
Add remove has no media or JRiver entries.

OS XP..

Any ideas?

HELOOO  MJ Staff!  anyone home?

    I would appeciate a response!

MJ 8 or MEdia 9 all fail to install.  After the unstaller unpacks and the blue line reaches the end of the initial dialog box everything disapears and the install fails!

I cannot even install the product. I did have the trial version installed and removed earlier.

I am a newly Liscenced user and cannot use the product can I get some help please it has been over a week since the first post!

Sounds Like You Have A Problem With Your System

If your Not Loged In As Admin, Try That.

Thnx for the reply.

No I'm afraid I'm not having any system problems, I am logged in as admin. I have also installed other software recently before and after without issue.

I have also scoured the registry removing any references to MJ or Media Center.

I am thinking at this stage when the installer unpacks wherever that might be there may be some issues with leftover files from failed install..?

I'm not a nubie, and have not seen anything quite like this before.  
I have also killed any process such as virus scan etc with no success.

Got it,  

I missed one segment of Mcaffe AV running.  MY AV software caused the install to fail.  ONLY MJ for some reason, I have never had an issues with other installers failing previously.

Very Strange indeed.
