Title: Read track failed : Not Initialized

I try to copy a cd to my media player and I get the error above. PLease help

Which version of MJ? Also, could you post your system information (copy & paste from MJ's help menu - System Info).

I had a MJ trial version which worked fine.
After expiry I purchased the full version - and have lots of problems now. 1st: the "Read track failed : Not Initialized" - error post. Only the analog mode would work, but performs very slowly and forget about sound quality.

I cannot change the device type because it is inactive (grey).

Here is my system info:

Update ASPI to latest (v4.71.2 from Adaptec site) then update MJ to 8.0.393...

I think his Aspi is probably ok, but he should definitely update to the latest MJ (8.0.393).
