Title: how to install plugins without a internet connecti

a friend of my is trying MJ but has no internet connection, how can I install the mp3 encoder on his machine.

I tried copy the dll file from my system to his system but that does not work.

any hints?

there is a way but it includes a bit of work, and i forget how.

it would be easyer if you loged him onto your internet account get everything setup and then take the info out about your internet account.

for him to register MC\MJ he would still need a Internet account.

Don't know if it works but try, copy the Enc_mp3.dll and the lame.exe to the plugin's folder, then go to MJ-->Plug-in Manager-->Encoder-->Add Plu-gin and choose the Enc_mp3.dll.

You need the mjp file and the zip file.  Both files.

Right click on the web page link to download the mjp file.  Edit it to change the location of the zip file by using notepad.

I will try it later today, is it true that you must have a internet connection when I want to buy MJ for him?

Or can I download a license on my machine, write it on a cd and load it on his machine?
