Title: ReInstalling MJ on Reformatted PC with New OS (XP)
Post by: nosmod on August 11, 2003, 05:03:25 am
I had MJ installed on my laptop running 98 and used it with no problems.
I then reformatted the computer after creating backup disks.
THE PROBLEM: I can't get MJ to reinstall from any of the files saved during my backup.
Can you tell me how to reinstall? - OR
is there a code in some database that will confirm that I own MJ and allow me to re-download free of charge.
I own another program that worked this way (Acoustica).
Thanks!

Download the latest version of MJ.  After installing, you can restore your license.  Use IE and visit this page for details:

what version of mj did you have on the computer?

if you are talking about the backup mj will make that is just the databases it is not the program it's self.

MJ7 and older is no longer supported

if it is a mj7 license you can run mj8
