Title: How to disable skins
Post by: FrankL on October 19, 2003, 09:06:49 am
I just downloaded the stable version of Media Center 9.1 after using an old version of 9.0 for a long time and was completely shocked at all the changes.  It looks just like iTunes, is that legal?  Most of all I was very disappointed that there was no way to disable the Mega-Me skins.

Why did you guys do this?
Is there a way to disable the skins that I am just missing?

Also Media Center seems to be staying on top no matter what in the Mega-Me View

You can't disable the skins in Media Center anymore.  JRiver decided to make Media Center draw it's own windows and not have to rely on Windows to do it.  I think there is a 'classic' skin around somewhere.

You might like knickelfarz's excellent 'classic' Windows (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=5;action=display;threadid=15333) skin.

I also get this from time to time. When it does happen, it's usually when I'm coming out of full screen mode.
