Title: TV tuner not changing channels

I have the ATI USB TV tuner and started noticing a problem since I updated to 9.1.  When I try to change channels the computer stops responding (all applications) for a few seconds and then the channel doesn't change.  I have to go through this process a few times before the channel will eventually change.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Do you have channels hat aren't really avaiable in your list.  In previous builds, if I was cruising through channels and hit one that wasn't vaild, it would do this too.  For instance, there is no Channel 14 here, but a bug in the TV part of the app didn't skip in when I scanned for channels.  When I hit next and Channel 14 was there, everythng locked up for a second.  I simply removed the invalid channels...about 40 of them.

I don't have any channels saved.  I type in the channel I want (e.g. "17") and wait.

Hmmmm...when you did a scan for channels, did they show up? You may want to visit this thread:

I didn't scan for channels.  I prefer to type them in.

Ah...then I can't really help you.  I've not manually tuned any of the channels.  As a last resort, you might want to do a scan to see if it finds them...you could always delete them letter.

When you say you "type them in" do you mean you click the number buttons on Channels window, or type them in from keyboard?

I use the mouse to press the buttons in MC.
