While waiting for MC's next version and a genuine re-rip feature, couldn't you guys easily ? and quickly ;D adapt the "Lookup Track Info From YADB" into a "Lookup Track Info From Library" (in order to match CD tags with library before re-ripping) ?

I (and certainly a lot of other MC fans) would LOVE you for that !

I second your request.  I am about to re-rip a couple dozen CD's using VBR; I'd hate to lose my ratings, play count, last played, etc....

Splendid idea, Real used to have this feature. That would also be able to quickly tell if I have already ripped a library cd or not (it is legal in Denmark)

(in the interim)...It could be handled like Convert Format. There's a checkbox telling MC whether to update the library or not.
