Is there a way for Media center to pick an album at random and play it?

Assuming you mean you want MC to play a full album at random, this smartlist does it for me:

[Media Type]=[Audio] ~a ~n=1

which, translated from the text descriptions generated by the dropdown 'wizard' in the search box, is:

Media Type:Audio Modifier:Full Albums Limit:1 tracks.

Press F5 to refresh and pick another album. Im no smartlist genius, so there may be a better way, but this seems to work for me.

thanks, works like a charm, that should be a preset
