Title: Error restoring Media Center license:

Hi I am having a problem with installing my liscense I purchased Media Center 9.0 aprox 6 months ago.  I used the restore liscense page but when i run the file that was emailed to me I get and error message

Error restoring Media Center license:
Liscense file past expiration date.

The file that is e-mailed to you only lasts 14 days.  Then you need to visit the restore page again.

Make sure your system date is correct.

besides what JimH said you also need to make sure your computer date is correct
