Title: delays in pane view

I know I read somewhere that there was an intentional delay when viewing fields in the pane view but....why is that again?

I'm seeing a 3sec delay with my library and I know MC is faster than this.

Click and go. I'm getting tired of waiting all the time.

So what's the reason again (if any)?

hmmm, the only delays I am seeing is all the times that I see the 'Updating database' box
