Title: write command failed, unexpected target error

Help! I have been using Media Jukebox for a while now. Recently my computer crashed and I reinstalled Windows 2000 Professional successfully. I didn't lose any mp3's (I keep those on a separate drive).

Ever since this most recent crash, I cannot burn mp3's to CD using Media Jukebox. I can burn mp3's to CD with Roxio Easy CD Creator 5, but it is not as easy to navigate and pick out songs. Today I have reinstalled MJ8 and got all of the most recent updates...I also installed the ASPI layers, thinking that would help. I get the following error message:

"write command failed on device 1:1:0 unexpected target error (04h 00h 04h)"

Any ideas or suggestions???

Upgrade to version 9, or try unchecking "use internal aspi" in your cd writer settings.
