Right now im organizing my music collection, and i would need a bit of help with the music categories. Is there some kind of music tree you can use to see where different styles orginates from, and so on? somewhere on the web offcourse :)

One place to look (and there are quite a few others) is www.allmusic.com

They have a lot of categories/genres. Maybe too many for some. For instance, check out their complete list of Rock styles. New Zealand Rock has it's own category!
