is there a way to consistently identify streams in a smarlist?
Was trying filename = ~~~stream.... but then I had one that was a WMA file that was named differently.
Any help appreciated.
Also, the names of streams always change when you click on them... change to the currently streaming song name. Is there a way to lock a name on a stream?

Since MC shows me the Artist & song title under 'Name' in the track info templates, I chose to name my streams in the Artist field.
I also assign the Genre as 'Internet Radio'.
This then allows me to filter them out of the view or playlist easily.
There is alot of flexibility here, so just find what works best for your needs. ;)

I like the Artist field suggestion.
In Genre, I like to keep the genre of the stream content -- i.e. news, comedy, alternative, rock, techno, etc. -- but you made a good suggestion.
Obviously another way is to create a whole new field, but that is overkill.
My original thought though was to have a SmartList be able to identify it with no action needed by me. Perhaps that is unrealistic?

I use "Volume Name" field. For example:
[Volume Name]=[HT],[MM]
([HT] is http and [MM] is mms)
