I always use another burning program to burn my CD, without problems.
Today, for the first time, I used MC9 (9.1.291).
The burning took much longer than normal and in the end the two progress-bars
remained stuck at 99,9% completed and the window (with these progress-bars)
showed: "Power on, reset, bus device reset occurred", file 12/12.
Nothing happened at all and after about 4-5 minutes I closed the window.
a) used Explorer and clicked on the CD-ROM, but it showed 'unreadable'
b) I cud not open the CD-ROM drive
FInally, I rebooted the system and luckely! all files seem to be on the ROM and everything seems to be in order.
Don't know, but guess there is still a small bug in MC9.
I use XP SP1, incl. the latest updates

Could you post your system info here? (from the MC help menu). Also, if you're comfortable editing the registry, please follow the instructions below and send me a log file of a burn session.
Turn on MC's logging for CD burning by changing the value of this registry key from zero (0) to one (1):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JRiver\Media Jukebox\CD Writer\Logger
Then just start up Media Center and try to burn a CD (you can leave test mode checked to avoid creating a coaster). Then exit MC and find a file in the MC program directory called "cdwriter.log" and email that to me. Remember that the log file is overwritten each time you start up MC, so you must send the file before restarting MC.
Thanks!

Which version of MC are you using (it looks like you clipped that part off the top of the system info)?
Thanks,
John T.

Hello to you,
sorry, it says: Media Center Registered 9.1.291 -- F:\MediaCenter\

Because of some MC9 'skin-problems', I followed the suggestions to uninstall MC9 and reinstall it.
The Skin is (partly) solved, the skin that I had with MC 9.0 is definitely gone.
Anyway, it is fair to say that I cannot reproduce the CD-burning problem anymore. Sofar everything is okay. tks.
