Hi All
I just moved my MJ 8.0 from my IBM Thinkpad T22 to my Thinkpad T30.
Now my MJ just blows up and crashes without any error..
MJ starts up okay, but the moment I press the play button for any MP3 file it just stops working and the window closes.
If I try double-clicking on an MP3 file the MJ window does not even open up.
I tried to look for an error log file that would give me a clue as to why MJ is crashing but no luck.
Anybody here has a clue as to why MJ would crash in such a bizzare manner ? Is there any way or command to start MJ with a log file so that I can attempt to debug ?
Is there a tech support department at JRiver ?
Any help is sincerely appreciated.
TIA and regards
?

Try update MJ to a new version 8.0.293 is very old
-
Will do that.
However when I do the "Check For Updates" option from inside MJ it only shows me an update for Ogg Vorbis encoder. When I tried to download the encoder update it comes back saying "failed to connect to server".
I am downloading the complete eval and will try and complete un-install and then a re-install.
Just for public consumption I am enclosing the SysInfo from my system.
BTW, one more question. How does one set-up the proxy settings in MJ. I sometimes use my computer behind a proxy and sometimes direct.
Regards
