Title: Hauppauge wintv pvr

Hello all,

I have upgraded my tv card to a hauppauge wintv pvr (pci based) card and now cannot get MC to work with it. It keeps telling me that hauppauge components need to be downloaded, it downloads them and then fails to play the tv. Any ideas.

Hauppauge WinTV PVR is not yet supported. From the description you gave, it is likely that this device is not using WDM driver. The Hauppauge component that the program tries to download and use is provided by Hauppauge for other WinTV products using VfW drivers, but not PVR.

If/when Hauppauge releases a WDM driver for their PVR products, I will try make sure it works with MC.
