Title: A request, if possible
Post by: c1c9k72 on December 18, 2002, 06:42:40 am
This product is incredible.  It's well worth the money since it finally makes my music collection managable.  It's almost perfect, except for something which I've noticed and which has complicated things more than once.

When a song is in a playlist and the song is deleted or moved by anything other than MJ, the song simply seems to disappears from the playlist.  No indicator is given that something has gone missing.  Is it possible to have missing songs noted, either by printing them in some other color or even simply alerting the user to the fact that a song which was expected is not found ?  I realize it's nit-picking, but I'm curious.

Again, great product, and I'm looking forward to the final version of MJ 9.

Short answer...

Prevention is the cure...keep it from happening in the first place...lock the files down (by setting permissions on a per user basis...applies to NT/W2k/XP).
