Title: 5.1 sound problem
Post by: bjevers on November 08, 2003, 06:23:54 pm
Not sure what build this problem resurfaced but I am not getting any sound out of my rear speakers with MC.  They work fine with Media Player.  I have an Nforce2 MB using the latest audio drivers from Nvidia's 3.13 package (build 366).  I tried the 5.1 channels setting under Output Format in the DSP Studio and that didn't help either.  My speakers are Logitech Z-680's and I am using the coax digital input.

I just found the solution.  My output was set to Wave Out.  As soon as I selected ASIO I got sound out of the rears.
