I can't seem to add another program to the "Send To (External)" list. It shows up OK in the "Manage External Tools" dialog box when I first add an item, but once I close the dialog box, it disappears for good.
Any suggestions?

Scott,
Can you post all the information you've entered into Manage external tools dialog.
Nikolay
-
Yes, sir:
Name: Explorer
Program Path: C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe
Parameters: /select,[FILENAME]
But an older one I'd entered months ago works fine:
Name: Photoshop Elements
Program Path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2\PhotoshopElements.exe
Parameters: [FILENAME]
I tried using just the parameter of [FILENAME] with no luck.

Scott,
if it can give you any clue,
I was able to add the external tool you specified (explorer) using MC 9.1.299.
BTW is there a list of possible arguments that can be passed to external progams apart from [FILENAME] ? Would any MC field in the form [Comment] be Ok ?
Christian

Maybe a problem with my registry then?
Scott-

Scott,
We can't reproduce it. Remove registry entries at location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JRiver\Media Jukebox\External Tools. Let us know if that helps.
Christian,
The only supported parameter is [FILENAME].

Ok, thanks Nikolay !

Nikolay,
Thanks for the help... there were some extra keys (named Exp, Explor, etc.) at that location. Deleting all the keys solved the problem.
