Hope someone can help me with this. I have MC9 installed on a Win-Xp machine, I have 3 soundblaster audiogy cards installed (all 3 cards are identicle). I have created 3 zones in the zone manager, I have set each zone for direct output with each of the 3 sound cards. Zone 1 works great. Zone 2 works great. Zone 3 works great. When I try to play any 2 zones at one time, the sound becomes garbled and staticy. What do I need to do to be able to play all 3 zones at one time, and have clear sound?

Are you trying to play the same file/source on multiple ones simultaneously?
-
No, I am playing different files, but they are all on the same hard drive. All are under the same instance of MC9.

I think at this point only a guess can be made without further informaton.
I suggest you go to MC's Help menu and select 'System Information" and post the results so someone can get a better grasp on the situation.
The System Information function will place the info on your clipboard so you can easily paste it here.

First, upgrade to the latest MC 9.1.
Then, try different output types. (WaveOut, DirectSound, etc.)
Also, update your soundcard drivers in case there has been a fix in them for multiple instance handling.
Thanks, and let us know.

Hey Matt,
I have MC9.1 I have tried every configuration possible with the sound cards. Still can not get sound to come out clearly if I use more then one zone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Erik
