Title: Assign an image to a regular file
Post by: Evander on November 12, 2003, 05:09:41 pm
Hi. Is possible to assign an image file (a reference) to a regular file, example: a .txt file??
I put an .txt and a TV channel in my media library, assigned both an image but MC ignores.

It'd be good assign a tv logo to a Tv channel...

I tried this myself previously, but not only were they ignored but to add insult to injury somehow it managed to assign images it had downladed from the internet . . .  which were all wrong (every channel had a pic of a TV tuner card box)   :-\

Hi,

That would surely be a great addition.

Just imagine, some time ago I tried to manage a collection of cooking recipes using MC. It is perfectly possible (all recipes are .doc or .pdf files) and the panes makes it very convenient to search for categories (desert, fish, meat, salads, etc..) but of course without a picture attached with each files it is far less appetizing !  :P

Have a nice day folks and...

Bon appétit !

Christian

Hi Christian,
Great idea!  Especially IF the image can be shown as 'cover art'.
I never would have thought of that but I love it!
