Some time ago I bought and installed MJ 8.0. When I learned about MC9.0 I upgraded. NP so far! Then I Upgraded to 9.1 and suddenly I was left with a 30 day trail period. I uninstalled 9.1 and reinstalled 9.0. Even with several attempts to revive my licence thru web and from saved key on disk, all I was left with was a 30 days trial license. I got desparate and uninstalled 9.0 and reinstalled MJ8.0. Still 30 days left and counting. Please advise asap!

so when trying to re-license you don't get any error messages?

You may have been using version 8 with a version 7 license. 9 won't work with a 7 license. The V7 license is a file that ends in .rrg and you must have saved it on disk.
Details are here:

When re-licensing the message is: Error installing Media Jukebox license: falied extracting license from file. The file ext btw is mjr! I never used MJ7 or the like. Please advise

My advice is to install the latest 9.1 build (currently 302), and then visit this page:
[link]http://www.musicex.com/mediajukebox/restore.html[/link]
and follow the instructions. To restore your MediaCenter licence, you will need the registration code you received from JRiver when you licenced first time around. If you've lost your code (which is a mite irresponsible), there is an option to have it e-mailed to you (given that your email address hasn't changed since you registered).
Good luck!

You're probably using a web browser other than IE right? There was a bug fix a couple weeks ago that fixed a problem with non-IE browsers and the "failed extracting license from file" error. Try the latest build and try restoring your license.
