Title: I need a portable as good as MC 9!!!

I love the way I can set up the library view.  I use a 3-column system with columns for genre, artist and album.  I can really zero in onwhat I'm looking for fast.

But as far as I can tell, all the portable hard drive players out there only have a 2-level sort capability.  You can sort by genre, but then you see all the albums in the genre.  You can see how than might be a problem with classical music where you could have a bunch of "symphony no. 1" album titles.   Top sorting by artist is a pain because then you have to scroll though all the jazz, rock, country, blues, alternative, classical, chamber music artists to find the one you're looking for to then see the albums for that artist.

So, does anyone know of a portable that allows 3-level sorts like I'm getting in MC 9?

I sort by genre, then artist, then album with my ipod. that's what you are looking for, right?
