Title: Alarm Clock
Post by: Svempa on November 14, 2003, 12:29:45 pm
MC is great, it holds all the functions you ever would expect from a Jukebox. But there is still one function i miss, a simple alarm clock. I love waking up to music, but unfortunately this can only be achived by using external programs. higly ineffective.

im pretty concerned that no one haven't made an alarm clock plug-in yet?
doesent people enjoy waking up to music?

I've tried to install the alarm clock plug-in but MC (9.1.302) says it's unsupported.

OT: I've clicked the link and I was wondering what the 'syncmaster' plug-in that appears on the screenshots is.

How about using Media Scheduler?

How about using Media Scheduler?

well, i could do that, BUT it doesent work as i would appreciate. Mather a fact it doesent work at all. The time format in Media Scheduler is based on 12 hour interval. Here in sweden we got 24 hour interval, so the whole thing fucks up and the tasks wont start att all.

The Plug-in wicksey posted is really interesting, it would be so wonderful if someone with the knowledge took a glance at it and maybye fixed the bug.

Great AlarmClock Plugin, works well with Media Center 9.1.305

Media scheduler DOES work with 12 hour settings.

In control panel via your international settings you have to add the AM/PM symbol to show for the time.

Then you can select in Media scheduler AM or PM.

Hope this helps.

Do you mean uninstall and then reinstall? Just updating won't do.

It shows as unsupported for me too . . . .

HOWEVER . . . . .

I first tried using Firebird and the package installer would not work, I could see the installer script in my browser with the link to the zip file in it, so I tried installing manually, No Good.

Then I pasted the url into my Internet Explorer and the package installer worked, SO Did The Plugin!!

How many of you that have not gotten it to install are using Firebird as your browser?

its pretty harsh that the Treeviews settings/settings dont saves when you do a library backup.
