Title: Media Center 9.1.304 available
Post by: Matt on November 14, 2003, 02:19:57 pm
Media Center 9.1.304 available

This is the latest build.  There may be some known (and unknown) bugs.

The latest known stable version of 9.1 is here:
http://www.musicex.com/mediacenter/download.html

The latest build of 9.1 is here:
ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/MediaCenter91304.exe

If you see missing icons or pink borders on icons after installing this build, it's because you have art from old builds.

To fix the problem, erase the C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center\Data\Default Art folder and reinstall this build.

9.1.304 History
1. Fixed: Creating folders in "My Computer" was not working properly.
2. Fixed: Dropping files in the Action Window Playing Now or Playlist would for reset the scroll position.

9.1.303 History
1. Changed: Removed pane "smart-sizing". (will return later)
2. Changed: Sorting > Ignore Articles off by default.
3. Fixed: MC would not gracefully handle files over 1:40:00.
4. Fixed: MC could hang while playing some rare URL's where the server abruptly stopped sending data.
5. Fixed: On some systems, a removable drive Handheld could disappear after file upload.
6. Fixed: "Use 'Album Artist (auto)' for 'Artist'" option would be ignored when manually clicking column headers.
7. Fixed: Deleting items from the tree could crash MC in some rare cases.
8. Fixed: TDK DVD drives are now supported for burning.
9. Fixed: Speed displayed for DVD drives was incorrect.
10. Fixed: Certain errors in CD burning process would cause two pop-up windows to appear, with garbage in the second pop-up.

I know this has been addressed before, but I really think its more intuitive and more functional to have the action window show the CURRENTLY PLAYING track info WHEN the player is in the "PLAYING NOW" mode.  Also I'd bet most people would prefer that the action window remember the settings from the previous session rather than reverting back to the home page.

Thanks,
Mike

Would it be possible to have the balloon text that pops up (when you hover over a file) be wrapped into taller, narrower box so that the display of said text is not shifted all the way to the left and off of the screen?

Note: I put a note about the art above next to the download link and cleaned this thread up.  Sorry for the confusion.

Playing time for mpc-files (musepack) is calculated wrong.
It shows for one album 351584:29:28 in the Status line.

My PC has a DVD-writer and a CD-writer. I can chose between both in the CD-writer section in the options.
But if i want to burn a CD, MC chooses one of them randomly and i cannot change it in the options of the burn dialog.

Drag the files to the drive you want to use for burning and it'll work.

So has the name been officially changed now, or is this just leftovers from last night's bastard child?
