Any ideas anyone?
It has been a while since I recorded any TV with MC, so I do not know when this problem started...
If I am watching TV with MC and then start it recording everything looks fine - I have picture and sound.
If I play the recorded file - there is no sound. I have tried playing it with several applications, and they all play a 'silent movie' - so I believe that the problem is in the recording side rather than the playback.
I have tried changing the Recording Profile - not exhaustively, but nothing I have tried makes a differrence - still no sound.
Any ideas?
TIA

Did you try Reset?
Was Line-In recording channel muted?

Yaobing
I tried reset (several times after changing recording options) and restarting MC. Even power down PC (just in case!)
None of the sound channels are muted (either recording or playback)
Any other ideas?

I am stumped.
You most propbably have checked it, but just in case, how about "There is a physical audio connection from my TV card to sound card" checkbox?
