Title: CD pas calé après gravure
Post by: Sniffy on November 18, 2003, 02:40:52 pm
Bonjour
Pascal

Translation:

I burned 86 20-second tracks on a CD.
At the end of the 10th track, the piece begins with the beginning of the 9th track (?)
It begins softly, then increases in volume.
By the time I get to the 50th track, it begins with 2 full seconds from the previous (49th) track.
This problem used to exist with "Decode directly to CD".
I haven't tried it with "decode directly to CD" unchecked, but it should be reproduceable with it checked (?)
Thank you for this software, which I use daily.

Salut Sniffy,

On dirait que tu as oublié que nous sommes sur un forum anglophone !  Heureusement que Lise est là ;)

Hi Sniffy, looks like you have forgotten that they prefer english at JRiver. Well, unless it was an exercise for Jim to practice his french ;)

Bonsoir / good evening

Christian

Hi the last time I wrote in english, somebody told me I could speak french. The description of the problem is not easy even in french but I try.
When I burn a cd with "decode directly to cd" checked, the beginning of songs is the end of the one before. The more we advance, the more the decalage is big.
Example : Put a cd burn with MC. Go to the song 10 and ear the last 2 secongs of the 9th song.

Do you have the option "Apply Crossfade and DSP effects to CD" checked?

No, never.
Only "Decode files directly to CD" and "write CD text"

I'm looking into this problem. What format are your files (ape, mp3, cbr/vbr)? Could you try burning with "decode direct" turned off and see if the problem goes away?

Thanks,

I burn the same CD with "Decode directlu to cd" uncheck and it works.
The files are mp3 128 or 64 kbps
Thanks
