Title: MJ 8.0 import fails

Win XP, Athlon 1.3 ghz, Windows Media Player 9 installed -
Just downloaded and installed MJ 8.0. Can play individual files but import fails, resulting in having to abort MJ via Windows Task Manager. What is wrong?

It may be locking up on a file with bad tags. Does it seem to lock at the same point each time? What is your main file format (wma, mp3, etc)? Are you running the latest build (8.0.400)?

Many thanks for replying.
I am running build 400. I got import to work by eliminatiing import of *.wav files. It was hanging on a file named msaac01.wav in the Microsoft Money folder. Curiously, that file will play in MJ 8.0 if double-clicked.
