Title: Bug report: Encoder fails with special characters in artist field

When ripping a CD the initialization of the (lame) encoder fails for tracks with extended characters in the artist field.

I noticed this when ripping a "Dvořák" track. It only worked if I changed the artist to "Dvorak".

Try updating.
