With my crashed HD, I lost my license info. I tried to e-mail for one but that did not work. I bought license on 3/13/2002, and received confirmation to e-mail address in my profile.
Can the license still be recovered?

The restore license web page on your site says:
"Please enter the email that you used to purchase. Your Registration Code will be mailed to you."
When I do it, I get this response:
"We could not find that email."
But I still have the e-mail receipt for the purchase., that arrive in the mail box I am entering.

You purchased MJ7. J River doesn't keep copies of MJ7 licenses, sorry.

if it was MJ7 and before you bought
the program told users to make a backup, this would\should have been saved to a floppy disk.
it also stated that J river could not replace this license.
if you do not have that disk It is like what Gateley said
also the plug-ins are no longer aval for mj7
