Title: Closing MC

Closing MC results in an orderly fade out of the current track, just until the last moment, when it seems there is an unwanted burst of volume and a couple of unnecessary clicks.  Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't get that, but I do get a blast of sound sometimes when starting a track after playing prior tracks, not from track to track, but between stop and play commands.  I can't find a pattern.

I have the same sound card as always and this problem started a few weeks ago?

I'm downloading the new drivers for my card now, hope that helps.

There was in issue with this that was fixed around 9.1.309.  Make sure you're running at least that version, and then let us know if it's still happening. (look for newer builds at the top of this forum)

9.1.310 has fixed it for me.

I was running 9.1.308, not the 9 you suggested, I have 9.1.311 now, will give it a try and have also updated my sound card drivers.  It seems to happen randomly, can't find a patten, so unless it does happen right away, it will be a while before I can declare success.
