The U.S. holiday, Thanksgiving, is tomorrow, thursday. We also call it "turkey day" as the traditional meal is turkey.
The holiday celebrates the bountiful harvest of the early settlers (the pilgrims) of north america. We celebrate the blessings in our lives on this day.
Many u.s. citizens use the opportunity to have a 4-day weekend and vist family all over our country.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I opted to serve Lunch to Soldiers In an 82nd Messhall (I will be wearing my Retired Class A uniform).
I normally volunteer an Hour to the Homeless Center but they asked for some retired guys to serve lunch.
but can't wait for dinner, not sure how we are going to cook the turkey yet.
