Title: making playlists

how do i make a playlist without all of the other auto playlist stuff in it? like last played or recently uploaded?

Do you mean Playlist (where you add tracks of your choice to a list) or Smartlist (where MC lists tracks from your library that match rules typed in the search bar).

Either way right click on playlists in the tree and select the appropriate option.

i want the tracks of my choie but it also seems to automatically add a bunch of smartlists, how do i turn this off?

Just right click on the ones you don't want and delete them.

Somehow I think we are missing something here.  
Perhaps if JLee has not answered your question you can better explain what you did to create the playlists so we better understand.
